Dear friends:

Due to the fact that the world championship promotion has been moved to November the 2nd, the convention site in Chengdu and the WBC have agreed to have the arrival of all attending delegates as follows:

October 30, Thursday
Arrival of Ratings Committee
Arrival of WBC staff

November the 1st Saturday
Arrival of all delegates

November the 2nd Sunday
Morning: Board of Governors private meeting
Afternoon: WBC championship fights

We will have the official opening of the convention the morning of November the 3rd. The closing of the convention and returning home of all the attending delegates will be on November the 8th.

Many of you would like to make airplane reservations or purchasing of tickets with plenty of time ahead for reduced costs, so please consider the arrival on November the 1st and departure on November the 8th.

For all the concerned people attending the WBC convention in Chengdu, we would like to inform you that there were no damage by the earthquake in the city, the factories and the people, except some on the suburbs and the mountains. So I kindly ask you not to have any doubts in regards to any damage suffered in Chengdu at all.

It is very important for us to start receiving plans of attendance, so that the visa situation can be arranged with plenty of time, and avoid problems as some have had in the past. The sooner the better.

The Government, the Mayor, the Director of Sports and Madame Li, who is the Vice Director, are most enthusiastic about the WBC’s convention, which will definitely open the doors to professional boxing in the most potential country of China, where we expect to have one of the greatest conventions ever.

With my warm regards to all my friends,

Jose Sulaiman Ch.
